which means tons of catching up to do.

at least, however, i can do it. yay. :)

apparently i had a bleed of some kind and the process lead to a tear in my abdominal wall/muscles. fun. blech. this figured out after four docs and tons of tests.

it is healing, however and short of walking great distances (like shopping, which normally isn’t a ‘great’ distance of any kind, usually… but these days it is) or lifting certain things, i don’t have too much trouble.

anyhow, lots of work to do…

…being as i’m still under the weather, however you’d like to put it. i’m still feeling relatively crappy. blech.

no conclusions at this point as to what’s going on, but apparently it’s not appendicitis (or at least it wasn’t showing the required inflammation on the CT Scan last week). i’ve been infused with various lovely (not!) potions like barium and x-ray dye over the past few weeks which i’m sure doesn’t exactly alleviate any of the yuckiness.

however, i see a specialist tomorrow morning who will hopefully have some ideas. at this point, i’m thinking it must be some sort of cyst with torsion but, i’m not the doc so… going through the required medical strategies.

in any event, it leaves not much energy for creative activities (even knitting is not that fun right now). walking is painful, sitting, lying down… ah well. i feel quite out of the loop getting behind on projects and missing work at the shop. useless, sometimes. i am a type-a (with some common sense lol) and when i’m not busy i feel really strange.

i did want to share with you the one knitting pic i finally got uploaded:

this is my niece. :) she was two months old when this pic was taken about 3.5 weeks ago. very wirey and wiggly… the blanket was one of the gifts i did up for her. it’s knitted in Lanett and Fleece Artist handpaint. purty, no? it’s fun working in pinks and doing more lacey things, for a change, after over a decade of ‘boy’ knitting. ;)

anyways, hope everyone is well.

i’m biding time on the couch between the Jays and the Oilers and HGTV. :P one of these days something will have to get clarified since i’m not planning on doing this for too long and i’m already into my third week…. sigh.
